When I walk around the town for shopping and sightseeing, I used to look to the buildings and check out the architecture. I love looking at these ghosts of the past... Several residences were converted to commercial use and there is a contrast between the first and second floor of those buildings and the commercial level at ground floor. A visual contrasts between the old and the new... the beautiful and the "not beautiful"... as you can see on photos that my husband and I have taken in Avaré.
