ANTIQUE HOUSES IN AVARÉ, PART I

Avaré is a city in the State of São Paulo, Brazil, located 270 km (167,77 miles) from the capital.

The city was established on September 15, 1861 by Major Vitoriano de Souza Rocha and Domiciano Santana. The population in 2007 was about 80,034 inhabitants. The economy is based on agriculture, cattle ranching and tourism. The great attraction include the beautiful Jurumirim Dam.
