HOUSES, FLOWERS AND FARMERS

Holambra's Fields is a district, like a small town, with nice neighborhoods and friendly residents. You can see all around colorful and bucolic roads, beautiful greenhouses and many farmers.

You see in Holambra roads surrounded by beautiful scenery with many huge trees and colorful flowers.









You can see a Burrowing Owl (Coruja Buraqueira) on the fence


Those flowers attract many bees and this huge bee is known as "mamangaba"













All photos were taken by myself with exception of the greenhouses photos which were taken by my husband.

FIELDS OF HOLAMBRA

This post shows the District of Fields of Holambra, in Paranapanema.

Dutch's settler from Netherlands founded in 1960 Holambra II and the Cooperative Agro-Industrial Holambra. It's economy is mainly based in agriculture, pecuary and tourism. Holambra II is knowed as "The Capital of the Agriculture Technology".
